Recent News – Omega-3 May Slow Down Pulmonary Fibrosis

Researchers from UVA Health conducted a study examining the association between blood-plasma levels of omega-3 fatty acids and the progression of pulmonary fibrosis (lung scarring). The study found that higher levels of omega-3 were associated with improved lung function and longer survival before the need for a lung transplant. Healthy omega-3 fatty acids can be found in foods such as nuts, chia seeds, kiwi fruit seeds, and salmon.

O-SEED

O-Seed’s vegan friendly “Ωmega Blend” is designed to support the body’s natural health. This blend provides the essential omega-3 fatty acids that the body cannot produce on its own. E. EXCEL’s Ωmega Blend provides a 3:1 ratio, delivering three times as much omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. In comparison, corn oil has a ratio of 1:46 and soybean oil is 1:7. There is no wonder why most diets are rich in omega-6 but lack omega-3. O-Seed’s exclusive vegan friendly blend, in easy to swallow capsules, offers essential omega-3 fatty acids without animal by-products, thus eliminating any fishy aftertaste you might experience from fish oil capsules. Omega-3 fatty acids play an important role in the body. Scientist have found they may provide a number of health benefits to support: cognitive function, healthy vision, heart health, normal anti-inflammatory functions of the body, and good health.*
